Two lines beat a whole verse

A lyric card is read in the second it takes to scroll past. That second holds a couplet, not a chorus — which is why the card sets two lines at nearly three times the size it sets eight, and why the box that holds them is fixed. Pick the turn, the hook, or the line that only makes sense if you know the song, and leave the rest of the verse for whoever goes looking.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to pick a song?
No. The Quote style needs only the lines themselves. Searching for a song adds the cover art and a credit line under the lyrics, which is what the other two styles draw.
How many lines fit?
Up to 8, though two to six read best. The card measures your text and picks the largest type size that still fits, so a couplet is set large and a full verse is set small.
What size is the image?
Square cards export at 1080×1080 and story cards at 1080×1920, which is what Instagram, TikTok and Xiaohongshu expect.
Can I use it for lyrics I did not write?
Lyrics are owned by their writers and publishers. A short quotation for personal sharing is ordinary practice, but posting one commercially, or posting a whole song, is the rights holder's call and not ours to grant.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The lyrics you paste stay in your browser, the card is drawn there, and nothing is stored or sent to a server.
