TUNEART

Copyright and likeness policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

1. What you can report

  • Copyright: a TuneArt video or page that uses your song, recording, artwork or other work without permission.
  • Likeness: a video that shows your face or voice without your consent. Our terms allow singing photos of the creator only; we treat these reports as a priority.

2. How to send a notice

Email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright or likeness report”. Every public video page also has a Report link that fills in the video for you. A copyright notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act should include:

  1. Your name, address, phone number and email address.
  2. The work you believe is infringed (for example the song, recording or image), or, for a likeness report, who is shown.
  3. The link to each TuneArt video or page you are reporting (a tuneart.app/s/… link, for example).
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

For a likeness report, the link and who is shown are enough to start; we may ask you to confirm it is you.

3. What we do

  • We review complete notices promptly, normally within two business days, and remove or disable the reported video if it is infringing or uses someone’s likeness without consent.
  • We tell the account that made the video what was removed and why.
  • We close the accounts of repeat infringers and of anyone who uses another person’s face.

4. Counter-notice

If your video was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email us with the video’s link, why you believe it was removed in error, your contact details, consent to the jurisdiction of your local court, and your signature. If the person who reported it does not start legal action within 10 business days, we may restore the video.

5. Misuse

Sending a notice you know to be false can make you liable for damages. If you are unsure whether something infringes, consider asking a lawyer first.
